Solid table, infact it was hard to lift it was so heavy so proves the excellent quality. Pinesolutions were the most competitive and believe me i searched for months to find cheaper but couldnt. Excellent item

Fantastic table - lovely oak and really well finished. The mechanism for extending is easy and smooth and you would never know that it had been extended when done. Very heavy though because it is solid oak.

Unfortunately the purchase of this table has not been a good one. Pine solutions themselves have been very helpful, but the quality of the table is just not very good. First we were delivered the wrong table, the next one had gaps between the panels, the third one was different colour wood sections on it, and the fourth would not clip back together when extended. At this point Pine Solutions decided to tell us that they could not offer the quality we expected and offered a refund. It's a pity, as we love the table, but feel let down by the shoddy finishing of it. the price would be right if the product was right!

I bought this after looking at the dining package page rather than the separate table page, and I didn't realise the table top was oak veneer on top of an oak frame rather than solid oak all the way. That said, I am very happy with the table. It is very solid and well made and the wood is beautiful.
