Despite being built properly, the bookcase isn't sturdy.

This was a very good purchase, good value and all that it said on the box! Had tried to find the equivalent locally but just not available and the alternatives were much dearer. Was forced to modify the bookcase slightly to fit it in but this did not affect its appearance or serviceability. Would recommend Pine Solutions any time and will use them again when needed.

Fabulous, sturdy furniture. I put it together myself in about 2 hours. Sorting delivery out was a bit of a pain and the packaging was not taken away, other than that would buy again!

I didn't actually receive the item I ordered. I received a Corona Bookcase without the drawer. I was told that item had been withdrawn and was not available. I had thought I may receive a refund of some sort as the item I received would be cheaper to manufacture and for the inconvenience caused.

Probably came up to the usual standard from Pine Solutions, sadly this item was badly damaged by the courier and had to be returned

Really good and solid bookcase. Easy to follow instructions and as a woman building it on my own, I think I did quite well to finish it in 2 hours. Some of the joins weren't perfect but I think it just adds to its character and it doesn't make it any less stable. Would definitely recommend

Build quality: very good, went together well. Value for money: this is an excellent purchase. It far out strips any of the other units I could find in this price range. It is very heavy and solid; the shelves are strong and take a good weight without bowing. It was bought for in a child’s room as a stop gap until i could get a 'better' unit but having received and put together this unit I am no longer looking to buy anything else, I can see this lasting many years. One point that I feel a buyer should know is that the pine does mark easily, but as it is pine a soft wood this is to be expected. Have also found it for sale for nearly twice the price. The draw fits well. You need to be a competent flat packer who reads and follows the instructions to put this together.

A bit harder to put together than I thought.

Very solid, nice quality and look much nicer than cheaper versions made from plywood and veneer. Nice finishing touches, such as the bevelled top and shaped bottom front. We left off the black circular pins as we thought the bookcases looked much nicer without. Handles another nice finishing touch.
