These were perfect for a specific area that called for bookcases that were not too deep. They do the job perfectly and are sturdy. Only downside was that the finish is a rather strange yellow colour which didn't bother us as they suited the area they were to be placed in but in harsher light this could be a problem.

Have been completely happy with this bookcase and the other 2 pieces of furniture bought from Pine Solutions - a pine chest of drawers and cupboard and the service provided.

Good quality. Was kept informed to what time delivery was expected and arrived on time. Much cheaper than buying in London and even with the express Saturday delivery charge was a third of the price of delivery from a local shop. Couldn't recommend this shop enough as they are polite on the phone and provide excellent quality furniture for a fraction of the price. Would definitely use again.

The wax finish was a pain, and the finish could have been better and after rubbing down lightly and applying varnish, the varnish refused to dry because of the wax. I got there in the end after a good scrape and a harder rub down. The wax finish is not good unless the finish to the wood is a lot better.
